      Shangri-La Rasa Sayang, Penang sits on Batu Ferringhi Beach within 12 hectares of tropical gardens. The resort has two outdoor swimming pools in the Garden Wing and one adult-only pool in the Rasa Wing, reserved for Rasa Wing room and suite bookings. Guests also have access to a tennis court, a well-equipped fitness center, and an Eco Centre that educates on conservation efforts, plus an Adventure Zone and children's play area at the sister property Golden Sands.

      Rooms & Accommodation

      Rooms in the Garden Wing and Rasa Wing offer sea or hill views and are decorated with wooden carvings and colourful fabrics. The Rasa Wing provides all-day beverages, afternoon tea, and evening cocktails with canapés in an exclusive lounge. All rooms have private bathtubs, and the resort has been recognized with a World Travel Award as Asia's Leading Beach Resort.

      Dining

      Feringgi Grill, open Thursday to Sunday from 6 pm to 10 pm, serves European dishes with views of landscaped gardens and offers a selection of wines and cigars. The Spice Market Café, open daily from 11 am to 10 pm, serves authentic local dishes, while Pinang Restaurant and Bar provides drinks and bar food. The Rasa Deli, located under rain trees, offers takeaway cookies, cakes, and sandwiches.

      Wellness & Spa

      CHI, The Spa offers massages, aromatherapy, and other treatments in a dedicated spa facility with a lounge and relaxation area. The resort also has a yoga pavilion, a fitness center with locker rooms, and beauty services including hair treatments, manicures, and pedicures. Outdoor pools are open year-round, and the spa provides packages for wellness and rejuvenation.

      Family & Eco-Conscious

      The resort provides a variety of children's activities onsite and at the adjoining Golden Sands property, including a spacious play area and the Adventure Zone. The Eco Centre focuses on turtle conservation and environmental education for guests of all ages. Free scheduled shuttle service to George Town UNESCO World Heritage Site (currently not available until further notice) and proximity to Penang National Park make it easy to explore the area.
